Terms of use
Last updated 2026-07-26. By using VoteIFor you accept these terms. VoteIFor is a free, non-partisan voting-advice tool. It is not voting advice, legal advice, or an instruction on how to vote.
What VoteIFor is
VoteIFor compares your answers to the recorded positions of parties and candidates using a fixed, published formula. The result is informational only. You decide how to vote. Every party and candidate is treated identically; the tool takes no side.
No account, no warranty
The tool needs no account and is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Editorial data is sourced carefully and every position carries a public source, but we do not guarantee it is free of error. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made using the tool.
Right of reply and submissions
Parties and candidates may state their positions through a single-use invitation link. A submission does not change any score directly: every statement is reviewed by a human against a public source before it can enter the tool. This is a channel for input, not a control panel. Submitting content grants us the right to publish it in the tool with attribution. Do not submit content you have no right to share.
Corrections
Anyone who believes a position or source is wrong can use the report form. We review corrections and, where warranted, update the record and note the change.
